Apple Bloom and Twilight are messing around with some bio-luminescent mixing, and judging by that glow, I think they made a good mix of glowing stuff. This pic is inspired by the “Twilight Time” EP, where Apple Bloom learns potion making for plant growth from Twilight. Maybe with this Mixture, she can make all the Apple Trees on the farm glow at night!
This is also my first Official entry in the WeLoveFine contest. Hoping it does well amongst the others!

Same here. This is also my first time submitting a design in a WeLoveFine competition. I've submitted 2 so far and I've just finished another (really time consuming to make), but I may have to scrap it. There's just too many good artists at this point, that any future design has to be the BEST. It's inspiring and soul crushing at the same time. The best kind of feeling.

I know what you mean. Last contest before this I entered was the Hearthstone one, for the new expansion. I predicted the top artist would come in, and sure enough, I was right. I still drew my pic though, and I still tried.
As for WeLoveFine, as said, this is my 4th time doing one of there contests. Sure I haven't won any of them to date, I can tell that I'v gotten much better each time I entered.
Either way, interested to see who wins!

That is true. There's always more to gain than losing in these situations. Still, its been fun to try. I like your gallery man, the outlines you've made are pretty crisp. May I ask what software you use in getting such clean line art?
My first submission is a little rough as I was trying line art for the first time. I still need to post it here.

I use "Corel Painter 12". I draw at 1,000's x 1000's of Pixels, at 300dpi
