Name: Addae Meaning: The Morning Sun

Breed: Komodo Lion (I feel like I want to change this, but the
name seems to be stuck, and I don't think I have another name to call this
species....Feel free to suggest a species name! )

Gender: Female

Status: Refugee/Survivor

Physical Appearance Rundown: Komodo lions' noses are not
reptilian, but have more of the feline, lion structure which are excellent for tracking. They have big canines and sharp molars, indicating that this breed do not swallow their prey whole. The main colours consist of a deep charcoal with an ice-gray speckled across only the dorsal side of the back, the base of the tail, and wings, but can have a bit of variation in the saturation of these colourations. They were bred by genetic engineers to blend into places that barely see the sun and are covered in ash. (Hence the time period this breed is set in, the scenario of the aftermath of a war of mass-destruction) Komodos have four light blue eyes that have superb vision for hunting /searching, and their paws are broad enough to decently dig into the earth. They were built for endurance runs and fairly long lengths of flight time. All five limbs (tail is fifth) are muscle bound but flexible. Their fur is dense to insulate from extreme hot and cold weather.Glows when stressed, bred in to let scientists visibly see when trouble is afoot, but also may help intimidate. Overall a durable, resilient creature in mind and body. Addae specifically has one leg accidentally amputated, with the scars showing across the lower remaining section of that leg.

Addae's Personality and Bio: She reflects the traits that are bred deeply into these types of dragons, which are generally protective, serious, dependable, kind, and thoughtful, but can be easily mislead. She's also a hopeless kleptomaniac. Addae will fight for who she trusts deeply to the death.
She and her two brothers had been living in complete ignorance at what had been happening outside the virtual peaceful forests and rivers that they've been "living" in for their whole lives. While the human governments of the world's bickering had turned to full on raging wars that brought the countries together into two sides, the secret genetic engineers from Russia had been developing supercreatures that would survive close to the source of a nuclear radiation explosion that humans would normally die in. Both sides were taking massive damage and soon the fighting had become so vicious that the civilians and even the governments themselves weren't safe. With everyone who was in charge blown to pieces, the ones left to fight joined hands in exhaustion, and were now fighting for their lives in the scarred cities and lands. The secret genetic facilities did not escape the wrath of this war, and a jet from one of the sides crashed into the building and broken the virtual world. Addae and her brothers woke up. In short, they broke out of the facility, finding themselves in a desolate area that was once a forest, but all the trees were fallen and covered under the still-falling ash.
