When Jennifer and Tanner eventually make their way to the kitchen, Jennifer asks Ivy; "Where's Oscar?"
"Oh he wolfed down his pancakes and then went outside to play with his purple lizard. I reminded him not to lose it; hope that's ok." Ivy tells her; "Oh, and I saw him feeding it a couple bites of his pancakes. Thought you should know in case you have to take the poor thing to the vet."
Both Tanner and Jennifer struggle to keep a straight face at this news; "I'm sure it'll be fine. That breed of lizard instinctively knows what they can and can't eat." Jennifer assures her.
"Oh good." Ivy says in relief. Then eyeing Tanner as he blows on his coffee; "So, tell me about him." She says conspiratorially.
"That's Tanner Underwood; the SECTOR Agent I told you about." Jennifer tells her.
"Ooooh, you have your very own sexy spy. This is just like a romance novel." Ivy tells her with a giggle; "He looks hunky. How is he in bed?"
Sputtering in his coffee, Tanner looks at the two woman; "Y'all know I'm standing right here? Right here. I can hear everything you two are say'n!" he says in exasperation.
"Oh god." Ivy gushes; "He's got a southern accent too? You are sooo lucky girlfriend!"
Laughing aloud Jennifer says; "Ivy, you have got to get laid."
"I wish! But until I find someone that could possibly 'get me'; I'll just live vicariously through you." Ivy tells her, then after a moment adds; "And my 'toys'."
Smiling at Tanner's expresion, Jennifer says; "Let's go to the living room and sit down. I promised Tanner that I'd let him in on our 'Intel Network'."
"You're sure about this?" Ivy asks, suddenly very serious.
"It'll be fine Ivy." Jennifer assures her. "As long as he understands we won't divulge the actual location."
With a shrug, "You're the boss." Ivy says.
