"Oh." Ariel replies, suddenly understanding why her boyfriend had been so standoffish since meeting Tabitha.
"Exactly." Xander continues; "I made her tell the cops it was an accident cause these things work better with a living eye witness. But she saw me in my Arsenal power armor. The same suit sitting in my workshop right now. The workshop at the house you just invited her to stay at! If she finds out who I am she could blow the whole job and I'd have to..." Xander trails off, leaving his statement unsaid, but understood.
"No!" Ariel whines; "You are not killing Tabitha! She's like a sister to me Xander, we've shared everything our whole lives. Hell, we've even shared boyfriends!"
"Ariel..." Xander replies sternly.
"No! I mean it Xander Lynch!" Ariel says; "Just leave it to me, I'll take care of her. I promise! Just keep your workshop locked and be more careful how you come and go from the house. It'll be fine, I swear!" Ariel says, almost pleading. "Besides, Christy and I both found out what you do and never turned you in. I've known Tabitha my whole life, just trust me."
