Description
To me the pairing of Haku and Gumi just makes perfect sense as an alternate to Miku and Luka. Haku was born from Miku while Gumi's voice is very similar to Luka's. They're also opposites in how Haku was originally really depressed and Gumi reeks of perky happiness (not that she always is, but her models and artwork tend to reflect that). So if anyone was to pull Haku out of any depression, it'd be Gumi who'd be perfect for it. ^.^

And thus I finally released this pic of HakuxGumi that I said I was gonna do way back after I made the original Haku pics in my gallery. It went through more than a few changes. Originally I was even trying to resize Kio's Haku (iffy sizing at best to match Mamama's Gumi's height [since I like her best of all Gumi Models]), but that was until I came across Eto's Haku. To me, no other model can match Eto's Haku in pure beauty. Mind you, I love all the Haku models I've gathered (Kio is still probably 2nd best or maybe 3rd [after Nerudrum's Haku]), but Eto takes the top. It doesn't hurt that the t-shirt model of Haku, Eto made, pretty much reverts to a base; so she'd be easy to make outfits for (if I ever get good at that kinda thing). As for Mamama's Gumi, I tend to really like the TK edit more than most, though it severely limits the kinds of shaders you can use on it (even SeriousShader mixes weird colors [maybe taking some of the red slider into the open]).

But anyways, I hope you all love this pic and love my idea of pairing Haku with Gumi. They're just too cute and too perfect. Also, if anyone knows of any Eto Haku edits, be sure to key me into their location. So far i just have the normal, T-shirt, Sweaters and Cyber versions (bunny version is gone, not that I really need that... I like casual wear, office wear, and dress-up wear ^.^; ). And since the original model's T-shirt version is a few steps from being a base, I'm surprised there aren't more variations of outfits for her.

And of course, I plan on using these two model types in future pics too. Got keep this pairing going y'know? ^.^
