I told that I was having some trouble with my work and that I'd like to try something new. She suggested I try GiD. I thought it made good sense to at least try! Let no one say that I'm not an equal opportunist.As to that, the only character I could really think of that I would like to see in this sort of situation was Rocket J. Squirrel/ Rocky. So here it is. My first attempt at an independent GiD drawing. Felt it'd be fitting to drop a flying squirrel from a building when he can't open his arms to fly.Β

Not a fan of GID but you did an awesome job on Rocky. You know as a kid I thought he was a girl because he was voiced by a female actress.

It's really smething new! Not only beacuse it's GID but hey! I just love the perspective of the building where Rocky was dropped off looks really good! The shady silhouettes of the buildings in the background are just brilliant. Honestyl the background in black and white shades looks like from old black and white comics
As for Rocky, you did a great job as far as it's your first GID. In my opinion he hooks just adorable all halpless and scared like this. Also, I appreciate the idea of dropping bound and gagged flying squrrel from the tall building
Anyway, I wish you to keep improving your skills with these practice pictures you're going to do

Thank you. This was a small sheet of paper, so I was able to fill it up with things that might set the scene. Made it a but easier than a large and cumbersome canvas, like I usually use.
I tried hard here, so I'm very proud that you think it shows!
