It's Lily and James, though.
Lily's Patronus was a doe, but one's Patronus is known to mutate/take on the form of another's Patronus if you love them a lot, because you so often use them as the happy thought to cast the Patronus in the first place. So before Snape met Lily his Patronus might have been something different but it morphed into a doe because she was his true love. So Snape's doe is actually Lily, and of course we know the stag is James.
