It does kinda make sense if you think about it. Harry's Patronus is a stag because his father's Animagus is a stag. Snape's Patronus is a doe for Lily, because Lily's Patronus is also because of James' Animagus. So in a way, it's kinda like they are Lily and James, just lived on through Harry and Snape. <3 IDK, I'M JUST RAMBLING AWAY.
