I love these SO MUCH. Especially the bunny, the cat and the swan! You could easily turn these into children's storybook characters!

I have a few characters who has stories, and i have dabbled in comic writing/drawing before but it never really holds my interest long enough to finish them.
I tend not to write full fledged stories for my characters because i dont want their back stories to be set in stone. I do however usually have a paragraph or two of their back stories summarized in my stash folder.
If your interested I do have a few pages of comics
here, One Small Turtle, a tmnt fan story i co-wrote. and the Unnameables, an original superhero comic i was writing in high school.
And if your interested in written work I have a series of short stories called Clueless, a twist on the Blue's Clues franchise.

Life sucks.
Im sitting at the bottom of the stairs of my dormatory.
Its... dark. I dont have my watch.
I dont have my watch or my phone or anything, because im locked out of my room.
This passed few days have been a living hell.
My classes are horrible and my professors hate me.
Not as much as my "classmates" though.
This is the third time this week they've locked me out of my room.
I dont know what I'm doing here.
I just wish someone could save me.
I need someone to save me.
Steve set down his pen. He sighed and looked up at the street light that lit up the stair case.
He read over what he had written again, and closed the notebook.
This wasn't helping. Joey insisted it would.
"It's a stress reliever," he said. "It's handy," he said.
Steve sighed again. He'd been sighing alot lately.
Maybe if he sighed too much his lungs would run out of air. That would be interesting.
It started to sprinkle. Steve pulled his legs up to his chest and hugged them.

Oh, cool! This is some great stuff.
Here's an idea... If you don't want their back stories to be set in stone, you could always just draw slice-of-life or 4-panel comics of them doing normal things you imagine them doing. I mean, you've got some great characters, which is an advantage when it comes to starting stories. Again, just a fun idea. ^^
And I know I've said this before, but I love your Clueless work! I even showed my mom once and she thought it was cute.
