My faerie gryphon Auroris. Her color pattern is based off a bird called a fairy wren, I liked the way it looked. I discovered that combining Copic with colored pencil is a very effective way to do feathers. And I forgot how much I love drawing critters.Auroris is (c)

Sort of. It's a little Australian(I think) bird with a similar blue and black face pattern. I just gave that same pattern to a falcon's face.

the way you used red tones in the purple really warms it up and makes a vibrant contrast to the black.
