Let's call this a Valentine's illustration, because then it can replace that old contortionist one I did in 2005 that scares me to pieces.This is Penny from Fool's Gold!
I'm doing an illustration or two for this interview I'm doing for Worn Fashion Journal. I'm so excited for it! Anything where people who don't read comics can be introduced to comics makes me a very excited girl.
This was done by hand (colored with Copics), EXCEPT that I changed the dress color when I scanned it in, and added a nice glittery texture that I got from . Hooray!

Omg the mystery is solved xD I remember this drawing from years ago and last year I ran into the video where you color her dress green. I was soooo confused because I remembered the dress to be pink/red xD

I wish I looked as good when I'm doing homework, though my expression matches hers... I like how her hair is messed up and her dress looked as though she saw the homework stack and then fell onto the ground in a swift movement.

You did a great job. I love the dress and her hair is really neat. I love drawing hair but I do the same style a lot. So I love seeing new ideas. You do some great work. If I had a comic book store anywhere near me i'd look for fools gold but i'm stuck just seeing your art here. but it's worth it. *smiles.
