I can just picture it. Amanda arrives on Mother Base after they find a Cipher site in Africa butchered. She tells them about her brother survival and years of attempted recover. Only for him to find out that battle was the only thing that soothed him, before finding the Cipher base and going AWOL and off the deep end. Pleading that they take him in, that they are the only ones who can help him now.

So Venom walks into an area in Africa after narrowing down his whereabouts. He's on alert, then he hears it. "It's been a long time, Boss. Thought you might never show up"
He turns and sees the Red hooded man sharpening his Machete. They exchange words, Venom try's to get him to join Diamond Dogs peacefully but both know that will only happen if Venom proves that he's still worth following, and they battle, with Venom as the victor.
