File this one under "I got really sick of looking at it". XDStill, I looooooooves me some Golden Compass. It's been ages since I read the books, but I plan to read them again, and I'm stoked for the movie.
I kind of love Ms. Coulter. I think most of us do, secretly.

I thought Rachel Weitz would have been a better choice for the movie, Mrs Coulter should give the impression of being warm and kind at first, until she lets the mask slip...
Nicole Kidman is too much of an ice queen all round (at least, how she's portrayed in the media)

Hmm... Rachel Weisz, huh? I hadn't really put a lot of thought into it, but now you mention it she would've made a good Mrs. Coulter. Overall I was kind of "meh" with the casting of the movie. With the exceptions of Lee Scorsby and Serafina Pekkala. They were pretty awesome. :}

I'm always so happy when people read books and then draw characters from them, and I've read the books too. Especially when they can actually DRAW and don't just like... scribble.
