He'll slink a few feet, flop over and roll, slink a few more feet, flop over and roll, and so forth. We take him out on the leash (Allie's old leash) a few minutes each day so he can enjoy the outdoors.
And he LOVES that leash and harness, he comes running whenever someone gets it out and calls him.

My Mikey does the exact same thing, seems to love it outside but won't walk just flop and roll as you say. Mikey is deaf but when he sees me with the leash in my hand he comes running. I'm glad to see this behavior on the harness is normal. LOL

XD That's so cute! Whenever I put anything on my cat she kind of slinks a few step, putting her body lower to the ground each step until she's laying down, then she refuses to get back up until whatever I've put on her is off.
