Yes, the title of the series will be changed from toho monsters revised to kaiju revised, because I also want to include some monsters from the gamera franchise which wasnt done by toho but by daiei(hope I spelled it correctly).And here we have our first example from the gamera franchise, Barugon(not to be confused with the toho monster Baragon), a strange creature that shoots rainbows out of its back...yeah,rainbows.... I dont know on what kind of drugs they were when they came up with that. However, Barugon offers great potential for my series. Fans have described him as a mix between a monitor lizard and a chamaeleon. And so thats what I went for, giving it more chamaeleon looking eyes, a more lizard like body and so on, while still trying to keep as much traits from the original as possible like the freeze tongue, the rainbows(yeah,even that) and so on.

Very nice. Barugon always looked like a rauisuchian to me, except for the nose horn. I was actually just watching that movie a couple of weeks ago...it helps to have a lot of beer.

Anyway awesome job on combining the traits of a chamaeleon and monitor lizard while also not making him a giant hybrid of those two reptiles.

This is so cool yet so freaky at the same time. I like him.
Also, I think there's a way to make the rainbow thing cool. Maybe something related to the freeze tongue. I'm not sure what it is, but I know there's a way to make that not seem so silly.

yeah, but whats Γ©ven more cheesy is that the rainbows he shoots are supposed to be heatrays. I am ok with that, but why in the form of raibows? I am not even saying that this is bad, its just awkward by doing it with rainbows

Maybe his spines concentrate light (and therefore heat) through refraction? I don't know.
At least it's an original idea.

Maybe... its scales are triangular and transparent, forming natural prisms? And perhaps the freeze tongue really transmits a paralytic venom. The long fingers and long, curled tail... somehow to me they look strange on a gigantic creature such as this one.
