Description Couple of hours. I thought it would be fun to add a little animal to contrast Rossum - you can imagine these two sharing a lot of adventures together. Definitely some early Iron Man influences seeped through here with the basic shapes.

An image born out of a number of ideas I have for some childrens' picture books. If only there was more time!

Thanks - I must check that film out. I watched The Illusionist last night and although I felt it was a remarkable piece of animation with plenty of charm, it really lacked on story. Shame when all that effort went in to producing it.

i picked this up on a postcard in a cinema.... and it instantly inspired me...

ill keep you posted, but this one picture has become the starting point for my current uni project, which will end up being an animation. ill let you know when its complete! and you'll get credit.

i just loved the idea of a robot and a bird.... thats whats inspired me. visually im still not sure where it'll be going yet. im hoping it'll very much be in a pixar-esque style. so child friendly!

Aah more time..it's something I wish I had as well. I've had a children's book in mind for ages it seems now. It's so easy to get distracted by other projects and work.

He actually reminds me of The Iron Giant, a great movie that came out some years ago now. What boy doesn't dream of having their own robot. Or in this case, what bird?
