Description
Spriting FPS weaponry is actually a lot harder than it looks.Need to do a lot of stuff in weird positions in isometric proportions, and then shade it with a light source from a strange direction--with LOTS of colors. Then make sure everything is still textured the way you want, and that it's not in an overbearing position so that it gets in the way of the player's HUD and aim. And all the while, you're dealing up close and personal with God's most blessed implements on our body and the bane of all artists (be it pixel, ink, pen/pencil, or 3D) everywhere...hands.
Fun as all hell, though.
Sometimes you get casualties, though.
Like, say, the left leather glove, which has the little slight oversight on my part of IT DOESN'T HAVE @#$%ING KNUCKLE HOLES.

Wow, looks really awesome. :3 You can see the effort behind it.
Pixeling is indeed torture. XD

That is quite cool. Frankly, I think it looks good without the knuckle holes, even though the knife hand does appear to have them.
Nonetheless, it's good to see some more *actual* weapon graphics in #Doom-Club .

Thank you very much, I appreciate it.
I've gotten a couple new tools since this old thing, hopefully I'll be able to make more weapons or skins. I've got some ideas in mind, I just need to see how well they translate...

Ooh, sounds exciting!
It'd be interesting to see this knife in a WAD, along with some other weapons.
