Description
Yes, another WIP...cos I will add clothing and some facial shots and other things later. But, this is the basics. I hope you can kind of read the lettering, I wanted to keep it looking similar to her. Stupid, self explainatory character sheet. XPHer name is Haze. She's fun. I like her.

I've been meaning to comment for ages on how gorgeous Haze's design is! What a truly exquisite beast.... Her face is utterly captivating (those lynx ears and 'tear' stains with the bearded dragon jaw spikes is just fabulous), and her parent species combine to create a beautifully realized character. I particularly love how powerful her feet look, and her fins and tail are delightful.
I am fascinated with the concept of her minor shape-shifting abilities; I wonder what she would look like in a more lynx-based form, for example. There could be nearly endless possibilities with Haze, eh?

Yeah. I'm such a shapeshifter myself, I can't help but put that into my character X3
I feel like I change my mind all the time, so...I created Haze.
I did some little drawings of some feral-ish Hazes...and they make me laugh. When I get a scanner back up and running, I'll have a few to post and you can see them XD

I have such a soft spot for reptilian anthro's and this is no exception. What a great character design. Looking at this and the newer works of Haze its great to see she's evolved and only gotten better.
A question though- is the steampunk dragon head you're making based off her design?

No. Originally the dragon was based off a Copper dragon from DnD (cos they're my favorite). But, the dragon head definantly has a bit of Haze in it now, like the snout shape. XD

She turned out as a lovely character concept. The tan with the deckeled black really works seamlessly. A couple of questions I'd like to clarify, if you don't mind. Her whole body is covered in scales minus the feathered crests? Secondly are her arm fins larger on her right arm vs. her left? Your work is quite beautiful and very inspiring.

Haha... The fins are supposed to be the same size, just there's forshortening or vanishing on either pose. Yeah, she's all scales. When I get aroung to putting some details, I'll put the scales on there. ^^

Yeah, just for the back view. I did it to show how it attaches and the markings on the legs and feathers on the heels XD

wat a cool design! I really like the pose, it lets the person looking at is see all her details. Nice combo btw. ^^ U also did a gr8 job with the coloring. Amazing. ^^
