I finished watching Ergo Proxy several days ago and it left a very good impression on me. It's rare that I'm so pleasantly surprised by the quality of a story, characters, music and animation (2D cell and digital) in an anime, all of which were excellent. And so this picture materialized: traditional inking + computer colouring. Hopefully I'm getting better at the latter.

For those not familiar with Ergo Proxy, it's a blend of sci-fi and suspense with philosophical underpinnings set in a utopia where everything is but what it seems. Contrary to what this picture might suggest, it's not about vampires or folkloric creatures.
