Please Full view!!!So here's the colored version of my first fanart for Avatar: the Last Airbender. I think Katara looks more like Katara with the colors but it's still not a great piece of fanart. I really honestly apologize for this SUPER shoddy coloring job. That sleeve of hers is KILLING me but I just don't have the time/patience/energy to fix it. I just wanted to get it done asap. this will probably get moved into the Scraps once I get a better version or a better fanart as a whole. I put more details into her hair but it's just too dark... oops.

Aww thanks. All the colors are based on the actual character although I'm not entirely sure how accurate my colors are to the ones the animators used ... I just tinkered around with what looked closest. I really just did a quicky job with the coloring though and didn't put nearly as much effort as I usually do.

I don't know the character at all, but the pic is great! It almost looks cell-shaded. The piece is clean and bold with simple lines and bright colors that delinieate the work wonderfully! This is a great start for anyone. It's eye-catching and made me track it down to full-view it. This shos enormous potential as both an illustrator and artist. Great job! Number one in my book.

My coloring skills are quite lacking partially because I've never really learned to color seriously until several months ago. I've always had a hard time with it but color does add so much to a piece.

I just recently started to learn how to use Photoshop CS2 and am working my way through Painter (but this is hard!). It's a slow progress but progress (i hope) nonetheless... Thanks so much for the comment!!! ^___^
