Finished Colored vers [link]Commission by the awesome of Gambit and Rogue (in her classic X-men outfit), two of Marvel's best and saddest couples.
Here is the lineart that I'm actually pretty proud of. I tried to make it as close to the comic style as possible. Drawing this really brings me back to when I used to read the comics more actively, watch the 90's show, collect the trading cards (Fleer Ultra!) and even collect pogs (haha, anyone remember those?).

They're really sad because they can't physically touch each other - skin on skin, etc. They have to just mentally be together. I think there was an arc though where they lost their powers for a bit so they were able to have contact but they regained them...

I love the little touch of color with the playing card. It's draws the eye without actually drawing away from the rest of the picture which is very lovely.

U drew that? I likee, Don't color this. Leave it as it is cause it makes the card "pop". I think there should be something red on her tho, like her lips maybe. For symmetry

Haha thanks! It's funny I showed my mom pics of Gambit from different Marvel artists and she thought he was kind of ugly and liked him better in my drawing. (Of course, she is my mom lol)

I know I love this couple too! I was really glad requested it! They're so classic! And that's funny how you've been watching the old series! So many memories... I saw some of the new anime and it's...weird seeing it all like that. I'm so out of the loop with the series, there is just way too much going on... Anyway thanks so much!!!
