Description

After undergoing much needed repairs at starbase, Coronado departs from the Redrum system and heads for the planet Melar in the 47 Ursae Majoris system . Lt. Cmdr Ross and Ensign Connor are sent on mandatory shore leave to Melar II when they come to blows. Ross attempts to improve Connor’s flight skills. On the planet Ross is hurt after their shuttle is swallowed up by the massive underground system of grottoes. Far above the bog covered surface, the crew analyzes the internal structure of the planet to discover what happened to the shuttle.
