ever since I was at Disneyland I've been wanting to just come home and watch my Pirates of the Caribbean DVDs.....I love it so much! I drew this picture of Tia Dalma from a freeze frame of "Dead Man's Chest" that I paused.** as an update, my gallery now contains quite a bit more POTC art....

Dead Man's Chest is where it's at. It's deeper than people give it credit for. The movie has this sort of unassuming epic vibe that sneaks up on you.
At World's End has it's moments, but it could have used a more decent script (kind of like part 4)
Part 1 set everything up fine, but has a tendency to drag near the end. Maybe it's just me, but I consider Dead Man's Chest to be the best of those movies. 10x better than part 3.
Either way, that's a great shot of Tia Dalma in part 2. very well done.

I agree with all that except I couldn't stand part 4. I loved the mermaids, but the rest of it was almost too dull to watch. I didn't even buy it on DVD, I feel bad because I love the series so much, but I think they screwed that one up

Yeah, it all essentially comes down to the director and the script, and they got both wrong for part 4. It's hard to screw up a movie with Jack Sparrow, but that is what Rob Marshall did. For his supposed "flair", the guy didn't know what to film.

aawh..Tia Dalma is one of my favorites. When i was in Disneyland with my sister we were at the pirate cave but i'm not shore where there was jack sparrow. Nevertheless it was an amazing ride.
