sorry for the bad photo quality. my camera doesn't pick up well with no flash and the flash washes out most of the normal stuff, but here's the stages of work i put into it.and...of course the finished product with good picture quality [link]

I use acrylic paints and Prismacolor pencils in all of my paintings.

What exactly was your process for painting the skin? It turned out really nice.

well, I start with a skin colored paint and make a layer of that, then I go over the details with a second layer and some white paint mixed in where needed. Then I use colored pencils for the details. Usually peach, tan, white, beige and a light rose color to even out the shading.

Wow. Well, that would explain why the skin turned out amazing. I love reading your processes, they always facinate me (like when you said you used nail polish for the glitter effect...It never occured to me).
