Description Help! I am not sure what catagory to post this in!
Mabey I have it right now?
This is a pointer I made for my brother a while ago and I can not remember who exactly made the sprite sheet I used, Sorry! This should work as a mouse pointer and a companion pointer called Tails Flip was ment to be the waiting/ buisy symbol. You may have to download the file to see it or use it, I have never posted a .ani file before so I expect problems. If it does not play then I will just tell you that it is just Tails in a flight loop.(The pointer's backround should be transparent unlike the preview) I hope some one else likes Tails and wants this and other pointers, it felt like a waist to just let these files become lost on my computer. Tell me if you like it, and tell me if you want to use it somewhere. I will not start a lawsuit or anything, but please at least give me credit if you use this or redistribute it! Thanks!
I hope this works as a postable file...

I just posted a gif animation as the preview to show the animation.

Tails is copyrighted by Sega, Sonic Team of America, or whoever owns those rights now.

Oooh this is cute! Now I went to mouse settings like you said in one of your previous comments below But I can't seem to find the setting. I have Window's 8 so it might be different, do you know how I could change it?

Hmm, I don't have windows 8, but I found a tutorial on youtube that shows how to get to the pointer changing screen on a windows 8 if that is what you are having trouble with:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=nctCly…

From the screen at around 1:30Β in this guy's tutorial you would choose the browse button as he did and use the "look in" area at the top orΒ the library links to the left to find the pointer file wherever you saved it and choose it for your main pointer and then choose apply and save. Hopefully that should work and change your pointer, but if you have any trouble still I can try to help more! There is also a little pointer I made of Tails doing a back flip that can be set as your loading/hourglass pointer if you want a themed pair of pointers, I could probably find a link if I forgot to mention it or link to it from this pointer's page.

How can I try this?

The pointer? You should be able to use it by downloading the .ani file in the download button to the right side of this preview picture. Then go into your mouse settings and go to pointers. Choose custom pointers for the mode you want to swap, find where you saved the .ani file and apply it. I also have a tails pointer with him doing a flip that makes a good waiting symbol animation somewhere in my animation gallery too if you want even more of them and some other odd pointers like the really wierd negative pointer that I am not 100% will always work for others but is really fun to use on links and such. If you have a Mac it may not let you set custom pointers, I am not sure if they can, but windows should work.

I really wish I could find a way to set this cursor in Mac so I could still use it.

That is very odd... exactly what part is not working? Is the animation not playing when you set it as a pointer or does the computer not let you set it as a pointer at all. I do not know why it would not work since it works for me on Windows 7. It may take a while for the animation to start if you have a slow computer.... Without more information I really can not tell what is going wrong with the animation for you. I hope it is not a problem for everyone! Can anyone reading this tell me if they have had any problems? I really hope I did not mess something up when I posted this.

Thanks! I am glad people like this idea. I posted the other animated icon that goes with this file just now. I really hope this works. Thanks for commenting me and be sure to tell me if you have a problem with the file!

It is a .ani file when you download it right? I run Windows 7 and it worked for me. Go to Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, and click the Mouse button. On the window there should be a pointers tab at the top. Below the list of pointers you can choose there should be a browse button. Press it and navigate to where you saved the Tails Pointer animation. If you select it then it should appear in the preview window instead of the normal pointer. Click apply and that should change you pointer. Tell me if this works or if the file is not .ani so I can try to find out what else may be wrong.
