Description
Due to the pollution caused by Robotnik's factories, Ristar crash landed on Mobius. "Some hero..." Sonic mumbled.I haven't done an oekaki in so long... this was kinda painful and I almost quit several times but for the love of these two characters I had to finish it up. I've been playing Ristar a lot lately since I picked up the SEGA Genesis collection for the PS2. It really was a great game!

Ahah, correct! I really love Ristar's stretch ability, to grab things. He was one lovely character, I loved every planet from the Valdi..? How was it called, solar system.. Yeah, Planet Sonata was some fun.
Ristar's always gonna remain as a mark! I hope SEGA/Sonic team does something about him..

I would love to see a new take on his game. The game had some of the best 16-bit background art. Art from the 16-bit Sonic games, along with Ristar is why I became an artist.

Personally, the stretching out ability is cool, but the shooting could be even cooler if Ristar didn't have to swing around and fly high!

this was his first appearance in Sonic the Comic Online, I believe he also made an appearance in the original Sonic the Comic, and may have since made an appearance in StC Online yet again. I'll keep an eye out for you^^

Yea though it was on the DLC Death Egg level. There was a bit where you drove past and he was standing there.

It's been awhile since I've seen anyone draw these two together.
I really like the color job here. Especially that shading done on the tree
for some reason. Makes me want to go back and play old-school Sonic
and Ristar.

Fallen star, hmm? Sounds like Ristar was catching on as one of Sega's great mascots, but Sonic already had his claim to fame from the start. But I think they're still awesome in my eyes

You did an awesome job on both Sonic and Ristar. Also love the planets spinning around Ristar's head (Sega Saturn symbols, perhaps?)
The background is awesome too! I can so see that as being the polluted Mobius landscape!

You know I did use the Sega Saturn logo for the same kinda gag once but I think it was a Sonic doodle. Glad you like this... it makes me feel so nostalgic... I wish Archie would do a Sonic / Ristar crossover 48 page special.
