Description Happy 4th of July! Drawing aliens for Independence Day just felt right and since I've been watching (and loving) Sgt. Frog, I couldn't think of a better trio of aliens to doodle on my Oekaki board ([link] ).

I finished this in just under 3 hours while waking up this morning (the time on my Oekaki board is wrong because it sat offline overnight). I kept redrawing their faces because as simple as they are they just didn't want to look right.

I practiced a lot. The first Oekaki I did was on a public board and although it got laughed at, the other artists weren't cruel or mean. They offered me feedback and advice which I took to heart. We played games, challenged and prompted each other to draw certain things. I participated a lot. It was a blast!
