Description
I saw Cold Fury. Immediately doodled this before having to go run some errands. Forgive the sloppiness. I just snapped a photo with my iphone and went about my merry way.I adore Queen Aya.... <3 And I just wanted to hug Aya throughout the entire episode.
GLTAS team did some awesome, emotional voodoo on my poor heart.
EDIT: I don't know if one can cause distress to another... it probably would have just been "stress" but whatever. My major was graphic design, not English. (Although 99.9% of the time I rock out with my English skills)

He knows it and deserves whatever Hal, Kilowog, or even those eggheads have in store for him. remember at the beginning of the series? after what he did he knew deserved to die so much, he even welcomed it from time to time.

It's as if the universe was telling him something... Something along the lines of 'you don't deserve a happy ending, because you're my personal punching bag'. Either that...or the 'gods of romance' just want him to remain alone and miserable. If any of that is the case...then no wonder he became a Red Lantern in the first place... Sure, it's not the WORST thing a being could deal with, but everything that led up to that point gave him all the more reason to be the angry pessimist that he was throughout most of the show.
Then again, this is just me speculating his universal situation on a philosophical level. You can't deny that even in real life, some people (or aliens, if you prefer it in this context) just really get the shortest end of the stick...whether it be through their own fault or the orchestration of a larger force.

Its okay. It can be his fault. I had about 129843908850914859028539349 different S&M doodle ideas come to mind afterwards.
"CALL ME YOUR QUEEEEEEEEN!!!" or somehting along those lines.

Remember at the start of the episode where Razer was like "Why don't you just come out and say its my fault she's dead?!" I so wanted Hal at the end to turn to him and say "Ok, THIS ones all on you."

As I was watching it, I kept thinking "She somehow survived, but Razer is going to say the wrong thing..."
And he did.
Boy did he ever...
But at the same time I can sympathize with him. He IS confused. He doesn't know his feelings towards her, because of Aya's decision to take on the appearance of his dead wife. That would mess with any person's head.
And her complete newness to emotion... Hal could have diffused the situation too. Granted, they had a task at hand, but when Aya came to him, she didn't need someone promising to talk to them later. She needed someone at the time, and Hal (of anyone) should have recognized that she was experiencing something beyond what she could deal with.
Unfortunately it was a mixture of bad timing, bad reactions, and bad inactions.
The only one who didn't do something wrong is Kilowag. He gets a gold star for that day =3
