Description "I can see me dying nearly every single day
I can see me sinking to the bottom of a lake
I think about the million ways my luck has disappeared
I think of how whatever's on my trail is getting near

and then think I think of you
I think of you
and from the chaos
comes something new

I can see me crushing under thoughts of what's to come
I wonder if I got a soul no one could ever want
I think of losing everything and living in the street
I think of how the bad I've done is closing in on me

and then I think of you
I think of you
and from the chaos
comes something new"--Galaxies Rearranging by The Distortions

Such a wonderful shot and a beautiful scene. It’s always interesting to me that what is essentially a pile of someone’s junk can at the right angles make such a great photo, it looks like they have been abandoned for decades.

I love this picture it's one of my favourites in your gallery Great angle and the other deceased cars in the background make it look like a graveyard.

Thank you very much!

I quite like it myself, actually.

It was fun walking through there and admiring the old cars. The sad thing is, I'll probably never see that place again. The man who owns it is trying to sell the yard and my mom is moving away from that town in two weeks. She's coming back here, and it's 15-17 hours away. It's a really dull town aside from my family residing there at the moment, so I don't think I'll have occasion to visit it again ever. :/

That's a shame, I have never moved house (well once when I was about 1year old to this house) I guess you gotta go where the work goes

I've been around in different places, but I always come back to my grandparents' place. They've lived here for nearly forty years, I think. I'm living here again right now. :B

as someone who experienced it 1st hand trust me, Romance can be more haunting than any super natural ones, it has that 'Ever Lasting' effect you know

TerrorCookie In reply to arch-satan [2008-11-29 21:05:23 +0000 UTC]

I suppose if it ended, then the memories might be haunting, but the romance itself when it's real and existing isn't from my experiences.

Some of the best shots can be seen in the most unexpected places. I love the "antique" nature of this one. The crop and contrast of light and dark ... or rust ... makes for a classic piece.

I love it.
