I'm drawing a collection of Mater Motley, Candy, Carrion and Boa all together. I've drawn Finnegan before, but didn't like it. I'll have to try it again.

magnificent! His strength and menace really come through in this. I really love the flow of the lines and the use of color splashes, but there's just something in the way you designed his head/face that I think will define this character for me henceforth.
And if you haven't yet, I highly recommend checking out the 3rd book! Perhaps you'll be inspired to add a Mater Motley to the collection : )

Wow, that's so awsome. I like the way the red color can be either seen as his cloack or somebodys blood. Or at least I can see it two ways.
I also like the collar, you have managed to make it look like one could really wear such a thing.
