Here's some Red She Hulk development sketches from my sketchbook.Drawn with Col-Erase colored pencils and Copic Warm Grey and Black Copic Multiliner pens in a 11 x14 Canson Universal Sketchbook.

*Betty Ross is mediating in a Buddhist monastery*
*suddenly, Xegito enters the room*
Xegito: May I come in?
Betty Ross: Well, you are already here, so I don't have a choice in the matter, do I?
Xegito: Your name is Elizabeth Ross. You are the daughter of General Thaddeus Ross. And you are plagued by the monster that lives inside of you.
Betty Ross: Who are you? How do you know so much about me?
Xegito: In my home universe, there was a woman like you. She, too, was plagued by a savage beast brought forth whenever she was angry. A man came here with an offer, to use that beast inside of her to protect my world from those who wish to attack it. She accepted. I'm here to make you the same offer. Do you accept it, Miss Ross?
Betty Ross: Why should I?
Xegito: Because I can offer you the same thing Agent Lorekeep offered Katherine Allogagan...a cure. I live in an extended family with one of the most brilliant scientists in this world. She has developed technology far beyond that of most scientists in other parts of the world...and my powers allow me to cure people of their ills. Join my team, and I promise that I will work together withy Nitori to find a cure for your ill.

Always, you're work is always admiring and has always been inspirational not only for me to draw better woman with that perfect mix of femininity and commanding power of presence but as well a better Illustrator altogether.

I've been doing a lot of character concept sketches of late for a creator owned pitch I'm working on, so this is of great interest. I find the "pre-production" work is some of the most visceral and exciting. Thanks for sharing!

love how she's looking so far. I haven't read any hulk books in awhile, so i don't know her deal. Is Betty still smart in Hulk form? Can she turn back and forth at will, or is there some trigger?
