Coraline is a wonderful !! I love the book ! I recommend people to get the Songes Sketchbook , wich is a great book to possess !

Hey, cool, sketch lines!
I'm really digging the canvas texture in the background and the various other textures used here.
The colors are spot on and the character is mesmerizing.

Well, I used a scanned in textured pastel paper that I colored over on screen ( just like my convention sketches) and I've not done that before.

Okay, that explains it. That way does make for a very cool look, but I guess that effect wouldn't translate well to your standard comic.

Hmm, cool, i looked at the .com one and there's only the spanish version, they could realaunch it or something in english.what i've seen looks good tho.
