Incredible pic! For some reason, the lizard's head kind of reminds me of Herb Trimpe's Godzilla. Maybe I'm just weird...

Thanks!
It's fine - but I'm curious to see what it really looks like in a full shot.

Too right. I think it looks very interesting so far. Like some kind of Olympic runner's unitard with the strips down the side.

Could the Lizard take Wolverine? It never occurred to me that he should be a badass cause he regularly hands Spidey his ass.

This excites me immensely
I know it's still a WIP, but I really dig the look of the colors here mate; especially the mottling on the "Lee-zard's" body!

Thanks, Tristan, yeah, I've had a fun time coloring this one - I left the art "open" intentionally so I could color it like this.

Something I noticed a long time ago, but never really gave much thought to, is the fact that you use a lot of warmer colors in your images. Is that a personal preference? I love it, it's just noticeably different to the vibe your work has when other colorists have been involved.

I don't know, it's just how I see things!
My color background/training is more fine art/classical painting, that's the only way I know how to "color". I don't really look at comics for color (apart from figuring how to do SFX) so maybe that is what you are seeing.

Very cool work, you two! The Lizard's gotta be one of my favorite classic Spidey villains
Man, the Lizard's lookin' more and more like a dinosaur nowdays, isn't he? Kinda like how Killer Croc's a step away from being a big, anthropomorphic crocodile
