Work in Progress colors for the cover of X-Men #7 featuring Cyclops, Storm, Emma Frost, Wolverine and the AMAZING Spider-Man!I will post the final colors in a few weeks.
Art was colored in Photoshop CS3 with a Wacom Intuos Graphic Tablet.
The lovely and talented Rachel Dodson inked my penciled version.

At this point, from scanning to flatting to color to sending to Marvel, I've spent a little over 3 hours on the piece. It needs a good 5-10 hours of just coloring and "massaging".

It's actually a pretty common mistake - I think due to the fact that the first issue of Spider-Man Black Cat mistakenly listed Rachel as both the inker and colorist - ever since then people assume she colors the stuff.

damn... NOw I know.. and knowing is half the battle.. btw thanks btw to put out your lines. I'm a colorist in training and I really wanted to practice some coloring to broaden up my skills on other artists work

For now, the european stuff, Songes, will be colored by me. I expect sooner than later I will be coloring my interiors for my Marvel work, I just don't have the system in place ... yet.
