its weird that before i even saw the word 'angel' i thought of an angel that had got tangled up and fallen to the ground. theres just somethig about the calmness and serenity, and grace and beauty, its like a quiet hidden distress, i love it!

sorry about a double post, just one more thing. it's hard to see that the leg lifted is her right leg. same with the arm pulling the rope (not as much though). I think maybe if the left knee wasn't shadowed by the right leg, it would be easier on the eyes. It all just kind of makes her look like she's flat on her butt and it should look like she is in softer pose.

The colours of the background wall are an excellent contrast with the white rope and model, it at first almost looks as though she is floating in the sky. Wonderful work.

this is gorgeous. the lighting is quite inventive, being on the same plane as the model. the specularity (as opossed to being diffused) also works really well in this portrait. I love how the light skims the top of her legs, and also the light going through the tulle collar, and projecting the lines on her shoulder. Beautiful!
