An East German air assault regiment with advanced communication technology integration, named after anti fascism activist and later partisan Falk Harnack. It was notable for receiving a number of special force trainees from the USSR, Yugoslavia and Vietnam, exchanging doctrines within the eastern bloc. An Eastern German officer in the foreign exchange program, Gotthard Hetmann, built a friendship with a few people who called themselves the Wolf Brothers. In the years before the end of East Germany, LStR-99 became a testbed for a future soldier program enhanced with cognitive network tech.
After the Cold War, Hettmann would take his knowledge of CyberSyn research and build a private army among former LStR-99 members. He would advance cognitive network science with the help of Alfhild Versberg and his daughter Solveig - under close supervision of Overmind until the Rubelstein incident.
