Synopsis:

Velma discovers an old book that contains many of the classic fairy tales, nursery rhymes, and other pieces of classic literature at her bookstore job. But it was no ordinary book - it was a magic book! A fact that Velma discovers too late when she is sucked into the book! But something is off about the stories - they all have dark twists or end with the villain winning! When the rest of Mystery Inc. discover what happened, they dive into the book to try and save her! Velma eventually runs into a mysterious royal named Prince Alastor and his fairy Asteria, neither are a part of any of the stories contained in the book. Can Velma trust this Prince Alastor to free her from the book or is he more than he seems? Where did this mystery prince and this fairy come from? Will Mystery Inc. be able find Velma in time? And will they all solve the mystery of why this once happy magic storybook has turned into a macabre set of twisted tales?

While Scooby and his friends have tackled fairy tale creatures before, I don't believe Mystery Inc. has tackled dark versions of fairy tales directly. It was something I have always wanted to see in Scooby Doo, even though I knew it had a slim chance of happening. So this was one was the most fun to create a story for. And to all the people to wanted to see Scooby Doo crossover with Disney without it actually being Disney, wish granted!
