Ahahaha I was basically forced into an anime club yet I don't draw anime... anymore...Look at those bright colors. Burning my eyes fuck yeah. PS, before you flame me about how much you bloody hate anime, look at this piece. It's not drawn in the style and generally shitty anyway. I don't give a flying fuck about how much you hate anime, go bitch on Youtube.
I don't own Naruto or Bleach or Death Note or Vocaloid.

Hahaha. I wish some anime were drawn in your style. While it loses a bit of the apparently obligatory "badass" in anime (this is not a bad thing because it's sort of replaced with...another...brand of badass? I DON'T KNOW but Light definitely still looks BA so...it's...different), it's definitely got this kicking attitude to it. Aaaarrgh I like this a lot.
The eyeburning colors are nice though. I like that you didn't just use...uh...peach for skin on every single person.
Also obligatory coming from me because I heart orange and blue, but Miku's little corner makes me so happy.

Thanks! I've actually been getting a ton of hate on this. People on Facebook etc deciding that they really want me to know how much they hate anime and etc, how Miku isn't an anime character. As if I didn't know that, this was a request lmao.

Meh, apparently our anime club isn't just about anime but "Japanese culture" as well. I doubt we're going to learn about the shrines and sacred practices because that's just too damn cultural for them. So, I guess Miku shows how "diverse" it is.

I'm sorry, but that's kind of... lame. If you want an anime and general Japanese culture club (although in my opinion they're two very different topics and should each have a respective club), you should learn about both sides of it haha!

Exactly. Anime is almost a mockery of what Japan really is, which is a fairly rigid country that focuses hard on school and adult things. There are rapists on trains who think that 9 year old girls are attractive, and anime only glorifies that sick fetish... I mean, don't get me wrong, I like some animes, but my tastes in anime are virtually the same as my tastes for American animation. I don't like Spongebob or Family Guy, nor do I like Naruto or Bleach. I'd rather watch little-known, well-made animations (or Pixar). Glorifying anime and Japan would be like glorifying Family Guy and, idk, Canada. It's just a country after all.
