as for t-shirt printers, I dunno if you're looking for screen printing or just iron on stuff (although I've never heard many good things about CafePress, etc.), but I use Brunetto t-shirts [link] he makes the shirts for a ton of the popular webcomics out there, and has got the most reasonable minimums I've come across
