Sigrid, teasing the artist.
Inspiration for this work, and such an awkward pose, came from a painting called "Flaming June" by Sir Frederic Leighton. ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flaming_… )
I happened to see a short YT-documentary about the piece and was Inspired by the colors and cozy pose. Later on, I recreated the pose from memory and ended up with this one.
