This is a well carried out architectural 'portrait' of this college science center. Your approach is simple but effective, especially in the grouping of the main and subsidiary masses. This structure reminds me of the work of Arch. Robert A. M. Stern. It has traditional materials used in a historically minded approach but without the pitfalls of blatant historicism. My best, WWL

Thank you very much for the feedback and kind words!
I hadn't heard of Robert A. M. Stern until now, but I see some similarities. :3
I know very little about architecture, but buildings are one of my favorite subjects for art.

Thanks for your speedy and thoughtful reply. Glad I helped you become acquainted with Robert Stern. Unlike the cold glass & steel towers of the High Modern age, he tries to use more traditional materials, but in an original way. What one could call 'post-Modern' although that is not terribly descriptive. My acquaintance with architecture is fairly extensive and in several ways I regret not becoming a professional. Please feel free to comment on any of my medieval derived architectural postings. It will give me much desired relief from the fetish fans! My best WWL
