Finally I managet to finish it! It has been 2 years doing this drawing, a sort of damned one. I started it in a bad moment of my life and now, that things are so good for me.. Well I wanted to close a chapter maybe
Anyway, she's part of a story I thought about in that same period. She's not suffering physically, but in her head; there, in that condition, because she used her very big mind in a wrong way. Now the mind is at the service of the nature...
Media: only pencil an a little of PS to improve the skills of my scanner ._.
Allways try at first to have your own original idea
And then, if you really like someone else's one and you want so much to do it, just ask her/him the permission to use it :3

Yes I do, because I like it. But the main reason right now is that my tablet is broken XD
In fact I used the mouse for the last two or three digital art works which you can see in my gallery. It was CRAZY.

Yes I do. Well this one is made with a classic grey pencil, but in other works I used colored pencil. But I also use Copic markers or pens :3

Mi piace un sacco lo stile (in generale quello di tutti i tuoi disegni, è molto particolare e personale) e qui l'atmosfera sembra quella di un sogno/incubo, lo sfondo così particolare, le linee gli alberi e gli ingranaggi... il modo in cui hai collocato il personaggio rispetto all sfondo dà una sensazione di spazio profondo! *v*

Ti capisco, anche io da anni sto cercando di sviluppare una mia storia alla quale sono molto legato, in realtà è molto poco definita ancora, e fino ad ora ho fatto uscire fuori solo poche illustrazioni e personaggi ad essa legati.

La bambina/ragazzina dei disegni dei link sarebbe la protagonista, ma nelle descrizioni leggerai tutt'altro... é una storia un po' lunga XD
Per farla breve, qualche anno fa comprai una bambola da collezione bjd. é iniziato tutto con l'inventare una storia, un background per il personaggio interpretato dalla bambola, e si è poi trasformato in qualcosa che voglio mettere su carta. Le ambientazioni e tutto quanto sono molto steampunk, e la storia ha un tono piuttosto serio ed è ambientata in un mondo tipo post-nucleare XD Ma quasi tutto è ancora solo nella mia testa... come la tua storia anche questa è ancora piuttosto indefinita e cangiante. :3

Mi piace molto il suo design, e anche il modo di disegnare occhi e viso, che ricordava proprio quello delle BJD C: e ci sta benissimo!
Interessante come storia 
Approvo molto lo steampunk come ambientazione, infatti il vestito mi piace molto e ho amato gli ingranaggi in questo disegno.

It's rather the background story. Suffering in her mind. She had OCD traits and neurosis kind of ate her form the inside at some point.
And the woman's dress looks like made from parts of the clocks, and my ex was somewhat obsessed about the concept of time and how there's never enough of it.

You got it saying that about the dress, in my immagination it's all made with parts of clocks, timers and other machineries, and also the woman herself could be a kind of inventor/scientist, and in her past was really obesssed with time. It's ironic how her obsessed wish of creating great technology led her to that condition of 'servant of nature' in the end.

I had to come back to say this. I really respect you for taking two years to finish that drawing. I can't help but lose interest in a drawing if it isn't completed in at least two weeks. I've revisited a drawing once and it's so close to being done but I haven't touched it in a year. I can't even doodle when things are tough. When I'm stressed anything that comes out is a scribble.
This is a fine ass piece of work. It's so detailed and amazing. It's so amazing to me people can make beautiful work through hard times.

Also I have a lot of incomplete drawings, but with this has been different...
It was like I added a little piece everytime something happened in my life during two years.
Sometime going on to finish it was annoying or I was sad; sometime I really needed to draw all those little gears,
to throw away stress.
And I hear you, even for me there are times in which I just feel not able to draw anything,
but maybe keep doing day after day a little piece, this can help winning the stress or sadness

I've recently been in a good place where I feel comfortable to open up to people. I started anti-depressants three weeks ago. Wow can those things make life easier. Since last week I've finished two drawings and I'm working on another one. I was actually able to draw through some stress. Given it was a drawing that was simple for me but I needed to focus on something else. I was close to being done. I was really happy with it so the urge to finish it and still like it kept me from scribbling everywhere. Still though I would have such a hard time drawing all those little details under stress. I feel like my brain would get the best of me and be afraid to finish because I'd be scared I would ruin it. Always when I like something and I stop for awhile and I look at it and want to finish I don't because of that stupid fear. I feel encouraged to face that fear and pick up some old drawings and finish them. I'm glad that made you happy. It makes me happy I could talk about this. Last week I started browsing DA more. I got so inspired by all the amazing art on here. Now I have even more encouragement to keep doing what I love and not give up. Thank you

You don't have to be feared to finish you drawings anymore though. I had the same problem when I was younger...
Maybe you could scan it at some point. So to have 'the game saved' at some point, and so you can start again drawing from there, if those things you draw the second time do not satisfy you
