Description
The first of my requests, I was asked by to simply draw my favourite animal.This is why it took so long as I couldn't really decide for quite some time but in the end I went for turtles (over koala bears and monkeys which were favourites of mine as a child due to the toys I used to have).
However I strayed from simply doing a black & white life drawing and decided to merge the turtle theme with another favourite of mine (Pokemon) to appeal to my interest in character design and general fantasy, which has resulted in this grouping of all the current turtle Pokemon in the four sets of Pokemon games to date.
I don't know if this qualifies as a successful request as I result but I hope Roz' will accept it as having successfully met her criteria vague as it was seeing as I've gotten a character pic from her using the request feature going around.
From left to right, up to down are Blastoise, Torterra, Grotle, Torkoal, Wartortle, Squirtle and Turtwig.

I researched Shuckle and it just wasn't turtlish enough for me, just cos it has a shell wasn't enough as other Pokemon such as Magcargo have them but don't make the grade for me.

Thanks very much for the comment, this quickly became my most favourited deviation.
If you like it do watch me, in addition to various character drawings and animations I'm working on a big Pokemon project which will lead to more collages like the Turtle Pokemon, just note I'm only about a tenth of the way through it so you'll have to be patient but I think it'll be worth it.

You're pretty much red hot as I will be doing several separate collages with themes and psychic Pokemon just happens to be one of them, I do stress it will take some time but I'm determined to finish it having done about 50 coloured drawings for the project but chosen not to upload any of them until the entire project is done, by watching me you'll see the finished result as soon as it's ready.

dont worry, i realize it will take some time. 50 different collages will take just about forever to get done if you want them done perfectly

It's not 50 different collages, there'll be about 30 or so collages but they require over 500 individual drawings which will make up the content for the collages for a very specific reason which shouldn't be too hard to figure out if you're a fan.
Mew and Espeon will indeed be included though maybe not specifically those two in the same pic.

Yay for the turtle Pokemon! My favorite being Squirtle then Wartortle then Turtwig.

Good for you, design-wise Torterra's a favourite but its types throw me off, I'm still waiting for the UK release but busy anyway on a major Pokemon illustration project which will include Empoleon, keep a watch on my page or check in on occasion if you're interested in seeing the results in due time.

Y'know, all that we need now are a pre-and-second evo for Torkaol, and then you've got us a starter mix of turtle pokemon!

If it were going to happen it should have occurred in the new Diamond and Pearl games instead of some of the more (in my opinion) unnecessary evolutions such as Rhyperior and Magnezone).

Thank you very much, sorry it's not a realistic turtle like I originally said I'd do but that route wasn't motivating me to get on with it I'm afraid, all the same glad you like it, it took quite a while to arrange and especially to colour.

Which one? Mystery Dungeon or the official new ones Diamond and Pearl? I've already played the latter already cos my brother just couldn't wait for a version he could understand fully.
A little sceptical about Mystery Dungeon as the battle system confused me when I tested it briefly at a recent Pokemon convention.
