Description
Every princess wants her castle after all
Finally I was able to make the ferris wheel scene for the carnival ^_^
The couple in the back are my friend and his wife also eyeing the castle ^_~

It was pretty much my project for the day today.
My old laptop never would have managed it, the scene ran my new computer with twice the memory completely out of memory, crashing Daz, three times just trying to do test renders.
Next payday I will be able to upgrade the RAM though and try something even more complex

What are you using now? I remember you had low specs on the laptop a while back. I actualy bought a new Dell for Poser 2012 and I love the 30 second startup. The loading of the runtime is friggin slow but I really need to clean it and get the A3 stuff out.
Ram is essential! I recommend 8 to 16 gigs on 64bit.

I was using a Macbook Pro with a core 2 duo processor and 2 GB of RAM.
Last month I finally upgraded to a 2.6 GHz i5 Quad core iMac with currently 4 GB of RAM but by the end of next week I will order an upgrade to the max of 16 GB.

No the laptops are very good in price. I get a lot of hardware for free from Dell so I will not change. We buy in bulk when we do a project for the defense department or other government projects.
I've got lots of hardware to make stuff. I only need a fraction of your skill and I'm set.

I would not blame you for sticking with what you have better access to, but having to buy I am willing to pay a bit extra for long endurance and good support ^_~
