she's a dark defender
they're pretty much the kings and queens of preventing damage from happening by making the enemy too weak or disoriented or scared to attack. Their heals and rezes are pretty much secondary to the whole "make them sick puppies in terms of power" deal.

it's not a lasting harm drain, though, just makes people weak for a few minutes

Indeed, because it's better to let the ones closer to you handle the task (in this case, my own divas AND my newest OC, Heather Solomon) than to have to choose among those that are there (even though Kari could just carry her right to them, if she had the strength on carrying her).
