After a long day at work, followed by evening patrols and then a quiet dinner together, Katie wanted to go to her most favorite place in the world - where she feels the safest.
In Andrea's arms.
Katie tried to sit in her lap, but Andrea just slid down onto the floor so Katie could be more comfortable and held her tight. Together they rested by the warmth of the fire, smiling at each other. They shared short sweet kisses until Katie rested her head on Andrea's shoulder. The length of the day wearing on her a bit more than she would like. Andrea just snuggled her up tighter perfectly content to just hold her until her love fell asleep and would carry her off to bed for a pleasant night's sleep.
