no...the deformed shapes you see are reflections...put a torus and a sphere inside a large sphere (chrome)...move the camera inside the large sphere...maybe add a light and take a look around...maybe try 360 pano view on the camera settings.

Thanks Tim(e), the containment sphere has a black chrome on it with a medium dark purple specular halo...the movement (1 torus and 2 spheres) have a orange chrome on them...2 white lights, 1 yellow light and one blue light...if you want to see the source file, let me know.

Nice.. yeah i have been utilising black containments recently but often add in black or black pearl with med/high reflectivity which seem to take the lightgels well.. of course i would love to see the source file Tex.. always nice to pick your stuff to pieces and you know the offers always open the other way but you can probably work out what i'm doing anyway
