Description
Coming up with the likes & dislikes of a character is one of the ways to properly write them, and you could sometimes easily understand what kind of person they would be based on which movie/series they enjoy. However, in my case it was semi-impossible because I always assumed my characters live in an alternate, more mythical 2000s setting when the internet was not yet accessable to everyonoe and when smartphones were not yet invented, and the Avengers did not yet become a profitable franchise. But if we try to forget this "small worldbuilding detail" who could possibly be Phelza's favorite superhero? Some would assume it's Wonder Woman, Supergirl or Captain Marvel, but turns out it's Captain America, for one simple reason. Some don't know it, but Cap has one secret talent that is often overlooked, he's a talented artist who even worked as an illustrator in the in-universe version of Marvel Comics. The First Avenger movie had a few nods to Steve's artistic skills as he was seen sketching himself as a Circus Monkey during his time in the USO, and he was the one who designed his first official uniform.
Given that Phelza is an artist herself, she would probably emphasize with Cap the most in this regard. The Avengers video game story mode stated that Cap was the only Avenger to read Kamala Kahn's fanficiton stories and genuinely like them, so chances are he would have nothing but good words for Phelza"s agility with the pencil.
