I love the way that during the 30 seconds I spent reading that poem, it was like I was inside her mind. So sad, but striking. My favourite lines are, "Just hold me close, don't hold her near." Most poems, songs, etc. dealing with breakups don't address the fact that eventually that person is going to find someone new, which IMO is ten times worse than the actual breakup, but no one seems to talk about. So I could definitely relate to that. Also, if you have the time, would you mind checking out some of my lyrics? Thanks.
