Continuing the prequel story of Arcee, based on Spotlight: Arcee by Simon Furman.

A "Nekoid" is a "neko mechanoid", and "neko" means "cat" in Japanese (but we believe everyone knows this around here!).
Yoketron's school and Bludgeon as one of the students can be also seen in Short Story: Full Metal Contact .
Also, in that same Short Story Bludgeon loses his jaw.
Bludgeon's saga continues in Short Story: Proselytism and Short Story: The Balance, Crack'd - page 1 , 2 , 3 .
Yoketron is based on Animated Yoketron, a character dubbed by the great actor George Takei!
The plot is also a nod to a Star Trek: Voyager episode (the one featuring Seven Of Nine forced to fight to the death in a gladiatorial battle).
"The Answer" is part of the collection of tales related to the Nova Prime age: see all of them (plus the amazing cover) in Special Story: The Evil That Mechs Do .
